I met a young woman recently who follows a traveling legal career....

She's a "Bail Retrieval Agent", sent around the US to bring back folks who "jump" bail and are eventually picked up elsewhere. Local bail bondsmen retain her services to fetch the miscreants on whom they are responsible for the bond. Crime is at least something of an equal opportunity employer, and apparently women released on bond are even more likely to "jump" than are men. Liable for paying off a $50K-100K, bond, bail bondsmen will invest substantial time and money to retrieve fugitives.

Besides, she gets to carry handcuffs, "traveling irons" and other accoutrements which would leave men attracted to her (and she was sort of cute in a muscular way) to believe that perhaps they had met their first dominatrix. Of course, she has to put her restraints, etc., in checked baggage. The TSA and the airlines really turn up their noses at manacled pax, although she claims that once aboard, no one seems to notice thus use of those plastic "handcuff" ties.
