I'll be flying from Seattle to Shanghai(outbound leg of a roundtrip ticket) on February 24, 2013 on Korean Air. I have until March 1, 2013 to enter China per my visa. I'll probably spend a couple of weeks there before flying down to Singapore where I'll be spending another week or so before flying back on AirAsia to Shanghai on March 21 in order to catch my return flight home to the States that same day. Coming back to Shanghai, my Chinese visa would have already expired. Do I, or my itinerary, qualify for the 72-hour visa-free transit at PVG/SHA? Can someone who had been through a similar situation please post and share their experience?
