When TSA starts taking Skymiles credentials, instead of boarding passes, I will start carrying my DM bag tag on my luggage. Until then, I will just laugh to myself at those who see the need to put bag tags on their luggage, when it serves no useful purpose.
That used to be the vision before 9/11. The card would get you through the airport and on to the plane. No BP required.
