Logged on I saw an option to upgrade. They had several tiers and based on this discussion I chose the highest. It was some sort of "Entertainment/Internet" package for ~€30. It was clearly faster than any basic WiFi service I've previously experienced.

At checkout they expected me to pay for it. I told them I thought Plats were allowed the highest Interney. The FD clerk gave me a "one time exception" but said that package was not free because it included an "entertainment" option. I didn't use the option and it wasn't clear how, but there you go.
