Hi Guys,

Quick question, I was always under the impression that you could check your bags through if you had an international connection that was less than 24 hours.

YEG - LHR (lands 9:35am)
LHR - ZRH (takes off 6:00am next day)
ZRH - NBO (takes off 9:30am)

Now there are 3/4 flights between when we land in LHR to Zurich same day, but it would mean overnighting in ZRH instead of LHR, since the NBO flight is the next available.

Air Canada agent in YEG wouldnt let us check bags through, even called/asked 2 other people, and not in a "negative" way, so no issues with the CSR. Whats the actual rule here, because its quite possible someone might not have a visa to enter the UK and not having their bags checked through would be impossible.
