I dont mean to sound like a [moderator edit], but the whole point of my post is I can afford my spending habits and everything seems to be in line so I dont understand why I am getting denied.
I have paid my balance in full every month, and never missed a payment on any of my loan accounts.
My car loan was recently paid off, my student loans are creeping down, and my home loan is slowly decreasing over the next 28 years and change...
If I dont have the cash to pay for it, I dont put it on the card. Simple as that.
Cards I do have:
AmEx Delta Platinum -($5,000)
AmEx BlueSky - ($3,200) my first credit card back in 2004.
AmEx SPG - ($5,100)
USBank FlexPerks Visa - ($8,000)
CITI AA Visa Personal - ($3,500)
Chase United Explorer - ($1,000)
Target Visa - ($2,000)
and
CITI AA Business - ($5,000) - I dont think this one counts agianst me as it is a business card and does not show up on my credit report... true?
Recently closed cards:
BofA AS Visa card (Had $4,000 limit)
CITI AA Amex Personal (Had $2,000 limit, closed to get SPG)
any suggestions?
I have already cashed in the points from the UA Explorer card, but its my only account with chase so I wanted to let it age (maybe switch to a no annual fee card) and I only charge about $50 to it per month...
