UPDATE: Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach just finished a major part of a huge renovation.
So what - if NJUPINTHEAIR stays @ the Crowne Plaza, it adds more distance between him and the Terranea where his group is. He already indicated his desire to earn points @ the FS Marriott property. By staying @ the Torrance Marriott, the drive to Terranea is simply down Hawthorne and up and over PV to the resort.
