Just got MVP status today (from a nomination). Can I not switch to Preferred seating on previous reservations?

I have a flight booked from SEA->PHX with my family and I'm trying to switch seats but it's a no-go.

When I make any NEW booking though I can choose Preferred seats for all of us just fine. Anyone know what is going on here?
