At least they have the sense not to pull 747s so quickly out of service simply to repaint them, many of them retain the tulip scheme.
Contrast PMUA - where mileage plus got better and better while exterior paint was slow to roll out. Perfectly fine prioritization.
Bottom line - Jeff is choosing to annoy customers in favor of things like ego stroking paint jobs.
I am flying a UA 747 next week. Where is that wifi streaming he promised? The updated meal services? What? They have painted 300 planes? Big freaking deal
