I would never buy a Tango pass. The fare restrictions (availability could be an issue--better to just book the cheapest fare you can find on whatever Star carrier for the dates you mus travel), nonupgradability etc. make this too difficult IMHO. I did the Asia pass when it first came out and it booked into V class (the only one ever sold) and it was a good deal.
