We almost bought the vitamix at a home show... Mrs. derelict was glued in front of the guy's demo stand and was wowed by the things he was doing with that machine. I have to say I was impressed when he dumped a jar of planters peanuts into it and came out with peanut butter a minute or two later. But thankfully I talked her out of spending $400 for something that was going to sit in the cabinet after a few uses. I told her she would only use it 4 times and that would be 4 x $100 smoothies...
