The cost of these tickets is affordable but still has a stop. What is the most efficient use of miles in this case? Spend the money or the miles?
My question was is there no award availability on the US airways flight using United miles. United is a *A carrier and therefore their miles can be used to book on US metal at the same award rate.

Personally I would buy the ticket as you shouldn't need a 2 stop routing to get to Europe from the west coast and you'll have a three short flights none of which will be enough to get any sleep.
