In the six months since I celebrated cancelling my Barclaycard which I inadvertently got by them buying out Egg, I had forgotten the disaster which is dealing with them. It's all been brought back to me now, but in reality the benefits will be worth the inevitable hassle that will come with getting points posted etc.

Perhaps I'm a bit spoiled by my dealings with Amex which have been excellent. I fully expect to receive the supplementary Amex for my wife, which I applied for only last Friday, before the Hilton one arrives.
