I know you run a hybrid, I use these on a Trek 6500 MTB: Schwalbe Marathon Plus as a result of getting 2 flats riding the South Downs Way in about 200 yards on flint. Rode part of it again and no issues. As I am essentially lazy I wanted the tyre to have the puncture resistant protection in, rather than messing around with skins etc. Perhaps they do similar for a hybrid.
