No. He would have stranded himself. Who is the bad guy here really? LX or hdawg? hdawg is traveling on an almost free first class ticket due to a currency error; offered reasonable onward passage by LX in Y for a paid fare much lower than a Y fare ever would have been.
Does the term "situational ethics" ring a bell?
I have three of these tickets and have traveled on two of them successfully; next one in April. All has been good other than the bumblers at Vayama, but I can even excuse that because I know that I was the beneficiary of a really pretty questionable deal. I can't see anyone trying to take an ethical High Road if everything doesn't go perfectly when traveling on these tickets...
