Instead of renting a car for the whole time I'm thinking of just doing the car from Munich to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany one way to see the castle and then take the train to Innsbruck. The more I thought about it why am I renting a car for 6 or 7 days. I can train from Innsbruck to Salzburg. I'll do a day rental as well in Salzburg to go see Hallstatt.

I didn't even think about driving in the Alps being a challenge...considering I live in Phoenix, AZ as well. Not really used to the snow driving.
