Do you believe in déjà vu? I'm sure I read this thread yesterday - or at least this morning. Spooky.

Anyway, back to the topic. I do see it being a useful meet and greet location, but I suspect any valuable inputs will be lost in the volume of traffic in no time at all. And then we risk unfriendly inputs like "Yes, we discussed this in Post #3278 last month." I suspect the only real benefits would be (a) as a safe starting point where newbies dare to tread, and get pointed nicely at the right sticky or thread, and (b) encouraging Forum participation without the newbie having to enter the bear-pit of a live debate on a 'Hot Thread'.

PS. Galleries Club would be meaningless to a BA Blue posting for the first time, wouldn't it? I propose The Front Door, or Enter Here
