Chinese tablets

Lots of interesting features coming to the Chinese tablet market. With retina screens to the rk3188 quad core cpu.

I'd personally go for the Ainol Novo 10 Hero dual core. It's well built. Costs only 899rmb. It's AMLogic cpu is android certified and it's drivers are open source. This means the developer community can fix bugs and keep it up to date. It already has CM 10.1/Jellybean 4.2 running smoothly on it at slatedriod.com

Honestly, if you are willing to spend more money you should go with the Nexus 10. The rk3188 may offer great performance but hasn't historically been developer friendly. The Ramos W30 has a great Exynos CPU but Ramos hasn't cooperated with the developer community. The Nexus 10 even struggles offers great performance with it's retina display. So retina displays are a little premature for the Chinese tablets. It is already rumoured a Nexus 10 update will soon be announced with a better processor.

AMLogic has still to announce it's 2013 CPU. It will be interesting to see if Ainol switches to their solution later in the year.

All the 10" Chinese tablets require an adapter to charge. Lack the extra the Nexus 10 comes with like NFC, single partition storage, etc. ...

So what do other think?
