There are a few clients sites that are blocked that are very legit and not download sites, which forbids me for working on things I wanted to do. Upon my insistence to talk to a manager and getting to the bottom of things, I realized they are going way politically correct. Not only are they targeting sites with heavy bandwidth use, but also do a general "key word" block on website names. Not only are words like "sex", "fxxx" etc. are blocked, but even Chinese words like "Gan", "Chao", etc. are blocked. Since a few of my clients websites unfortunately have names that sounds like a curse, they are blocked.

I told them this is a very ridiculous policy, and he agrees to relay my opinions to their IT staff.
