Let them check. The fact that you entered your A3 # proves you wanted it credited to A3. Worst case is they will deny your request. No one is going to nuke any account for this. If you are nervous about it, tell them the whole story and ask them to ask UA to debit your MP account for the flights you want posted to A3.
