I'm quite prepared to dig very deep for all of this, both in terms of points and cash (one way to get spend up ). I'm not expecting this to be cheap at all. I'd be looking as absolutely far in advance as possible, especially if looking for points. Brazil does not seem to have as many hotels that can be booked with points, compared to a lot of other places, so, assuming they get released, award nights will go fast.
