It has been an exciting few days knowing that there was an upgrade available on the BNE to DXB leg of my return back to the UK but not having enough miles to upgrade until those earned on my outbound to OZ were credited. Yes, I know that I could have purchased more miles but I didn't want to do so as that would have defeated the object.

Anyway, I arrived in OZ yesterday and today had confirmation that my status had changed, so the miles were in my account.

Logged on (difficult with fingers crossed) but luckily the seat was still available. So 57500 miles spent and 2K booked.
