I can't admit to having flown in Y long haul for a long time, but if I did, I'd choose QF Q380 for the following reasons:

- Quieter aircraft
- New and better IFE
- Newer seat designs (BA's are years old)

Things to beware of on QF (last time I checked):
- Low baggage allowances (both cabin and checked) and can be very strictly enforced (don't even bother trying to argue that you are merely a milligram overweight!)
