I was looking at flights to Cape Town for next month on travel.ch
Found two flights on LX and SA that suited me well. Routing was BSL-ZRH-JNB-CPT and back in Y. On travel.ch price was CHF 1459 for a flight in T and W on LX and L and Q on SAA. There was also a flight for CHF 1509 that books into S and W on the LX flights and Q for the SAA flight.

I would have prefered to book these flights directly with LX but the LX hotline in CPT was unable to book this combination of flights because booking class T was not available and the SAA flight I was talking about could not be found by the call center agent. Instead I was quoted CHF 1850 for the same flight except a SAA flight an hour later than the one I saw on travel.ch.

How is this possible? Do third party websites have different availabilty and offers? On travel.ch I selected that I am under 25 but I mentioned this to the agent on the phone as well.

Ended up booking the flight on travel.ch for CHF 1509 as it gives 100% miles on TK Miles&Smiles.
