My plan for CLT to LAX to Auckland in about 2 weeks: Leaving CLT at around 4pm, so will stay awake until LAX. I'll load my phone & iPad with music, podcasts, books, etc. Then 2 hours in LAX walking around the airport. Then for the 9pm departure from LAX I'll wait for dinner service (say 10 or 10:30) than pop an ambien and try to get at least 5 hours of sleep. And this is in economy, so who knows if I can actually do this.
