Now, in re-reading the welcome letter it is unclear whether the passes were contingent on using the BoA card to book the airfare. I used a different card as I wanted the charges to go towards a spend bonus that I am working toward...
The pertinent paragraph of the letter says: You'll earn one mile for every $1.....and 3 miles for every $1 you spend on tickets...purchased directly from Alaska Airlines. You'll also be given two passes to the AS BR so you can relax before departure.
So, did I mess up our opportunity to use the BR for our 3 hour layover in SEA? I can enter using my Priority Pass but as it's the select version, I would have to pay $27 for any guest to join me.
I'm going to call BoA and ask about the passes but was hoping to get somem feedback from anyone who may have had a simlar situation.
TIA for your input.
***update for those who may have similar questions: Spoke to BoA who couldn't refer me to AS Cust care fast enough. AS CSR said this benefit stopped being offered in August and as I got my card in August they will send me the passes as they should have been sent out in my welcome package. My mom, who got her card in Sept, is likely out of luck but the csr sent a similar request to some other department to send them to her as a courtesy so we will see if that comes through. Nice of her to try.
Do the complimentary BR passes have my name on them or can I let me Mom have them and use my Priority Pass for myself and pay for my guest?
Just wanted to post a follow up. I received the promised BR passes in the mail yesterday. They do not have a name on them. Now just waiting to see if mum gets hers as that was not guaranteed by the CSR.
