I like the A-loft Sukhumvit Soi 11, it's usually $60-80/night, the quality is more like a W than an A-loft, you get Starwood points, free entry to the club (BED) across the street (and the A-loft recently opened their own club) and you're super close to the Nana Plaza BTS stop. It's absolutely safe to walk around at night, this is Bangkok, not Mogadishu.
Good hotel. Above the OP's budget, but worth the $$. "Super close" to Nana BTS - hardly. Without thinking, all the Citadines are in your budget and a good deal.
