Ok, another question...right now I have no status with any *A carrier, only Elite+ with ST via DL. I heard that Turkish Airlines is doing a status match right now. If I did a status match w/ Turkish and received *G for 2 years, but didn't bank my miles with them and instead just used the gold status they gave me in order to access the lounges until I could reach *G with OZ. Will my *G status allow me access into the OZ lounges even though my tickets and miles aren't being credited to Turkish but rather to OZ? Not sure how that works? Thought I might just be able to flash the card and get in. Whenever I do this with KE they honor my Elite+ status but the difference with that was, whenever I would book my ticket through KE I would give them my DL FF number.
