Back when I was able to use the Travel Industry rate, that was one of the few rates that I have actually been asked to provide an ID for. I can't remember if I've ever even been asked to provide an ID for a company code, but I did commonly get asked for the Travel Industry code.
So if I were you, I'd be prepared to either show some form of ID for the rate, or be willing to pay whatever the rack rate is for the hotel (which could be significantly more than the rates you see now.)
Thanks, also tried a code from FW for Marriott Associate Rates...brought room down to $40 a night. Assuming this rate would require similar ID?
