The Tower of London is a nice property but for a first timer with older parents, I should think that they would want a primo location rather than one a bit out of the way -- go with the Trafalgar.
Trafalgar can't be beat for location. For the attractions you can't walk to, the Tube and bus lines are next to the hotel. Theaters and plenty of restaurants are easy walk.

Something I love about this hotel is you can still get an Axon redemption rate as a diamond even when only Premiums rooms are available. I hope this remains their policy.

Aside from the LOUSY internet (which I understand is now fixed), the only thing that is lacking is a lounge, but the location and breakfast make up for it.
