I would actually recommend taking a block of 4 seats on one side of the plane rather than a whole row as you will be closer to each other. AS F seats have a very large gap between them that allow you to see/talk easily between rows. The aisle is actually a much bigger separation.
Other than the bulkhead at row 1 (no underseat storage) AS F seats are almost identical. There's not much difference, other than those in row 4 occasionally missing out on your meal choice as meals are typically taken front to back.
