I can now see why fares having a different booking class for dom sectors as per this:

"Tickets purchased through consolidators may have very different fare rules than typical published fares, and sometimes frequent flyer credit may not be accrued."

Far too complicated all this FFr stuff and thank goodness I only have a 7* minute car journey to work with three sets of lights.
