OK, folks, my Christmas gift has now turned into a Valentine Day gift as I purchased a Samsung LED TV for my fiancée's Christmas gift.

One change in my original list is I have come to the realization that an internal CD/DVD-RW drive drive is not necessary as there are several good choices out the for small portable drives including ones that are BD players.

Also PLEASE no more Apple recommendations, I am not interested and they are off topic!
