I received a letter in the mail from Chase approving me for the Chase Sapphire Signature Visa. The word Preferred appears no where in the letter. Is that the no annual fee card or is it the Preferred card? I will receive my cards in about 10 days but want to know if I need to call the recon line to try for the Preferred. I have no need for the regular Sapphire card and am willing to close one of my other Chase cards to get the Preferred.
