On most full service airlines, Y makes no money. Same with F. J is what drives profits.
Premium only configurations struggle as you can't fit out a 777 in J only and fill it a few times a day. And if you try this with a small aircraft e.g. 737 or A320, unit costs are much higher + they don't have the range for long distance flights. So successful full service airlines use Y to absorb costs and J to earn a profit.
