I was wondering the same thing. I tried googling applying for targeted offers when not targeted to you and was able to find a few threads on various fourms where people had success by calling when they applied using the bonus code. Everything i read was a couple years old though but i suppose it doesnt hurt to call and try, maybe they can tell you before they pull your credit
