~ Trying to Book Round Trip Tickets from YYZ - SIN! HELP ~
Good morning everyone,
After a long-time due thread or post from myself, it is time to post another thread on Flyertalk!
I am not sure where this post should go, but since I am an Aeroplan member, I thought I would post here as that seems the most relevant.
So in late June to early July, I am travelling from YYZ to SIN.
I am wondering how I should book my tickets so I get 100% mileage throughout my flight. I called AC Reservations and they gave me the cheapest quote of around $4K for Flex....
I called a frequently used travel agent and they gave me $2.6K but Tango fares...
Would it be better if I buy 2 round-trip tickets? So like YYZ-PEK, and then PEK-SIN and back? So 1 leg would be Air Canada and the other leg either Singapore Airlines or Air China.
Do I have to enter Customs and all of the other hassle is I book 2 Round-Trip tickets/flights?
I do not know how to make the best bang for the buck with 100% mileage.
PS: My mom booked using Aeroplan points for 125k for all Business class.
YYZ-PEK (AC 773ER), PEK-SIN (Sinapore 772 with new seats), SIN-PEK (Air China 333, yes I know, but the layover was not worth the "Book the Cook") and then PEK-YYZ. All for $480.xx taxes and 125k miles...good deal? I wish they had the 75k Business class this year....
And now it is just my dilemma as to how I get to Singapore with 100% mileage and good price.
