I prefer BA25 on the way out as you get a longer day in HKG to tire you out for the evening, and it really doesn't make any difference on the way back. In my experience, both flights are usually the first down at LHR and a fair bit earlier than the schedule as theres no other traffic holding them up.

I'd be inclined to choose the flight based on the aircraft rather than the schedule.
