1) The food. The chicken curry was actually inedible. (Believe me, I am a university student so I tried.) I don't know if this is just an ex-JFK issue but I have never had such awful food in Y in my life. The PG food on a 1 hour hop to HKT is better by a fair few nautical miles.
I've had a (possibly the same) curry on 182 and it was surprisingly good (despite dry appearance) by far, the best plane curry I've every had (in Y) - but as I've gathered flying BA mostly in whY (initially, a university student as well) that food in WT can be hit or miss in extreme proportions - either inedible or surprisingly good.
recently: the same cumin chicken (breast?) was yummy on an outbound and a lump of inedible dry yet raw somethin on the inbound.
OT - best WT meals I had in Y were during the Olympics.
