Two issues on a whY flight from JFK this morning.

Just came in off the 182 and whilst I wait for my train I thought I'd mention a couple of things that I was pretty shocked by onboard.

1) The food. The chicken curry was actually inedible. (Believe me, I am a university student so I tried.) I don't know if this is just an ex-JFK issue but I have never had such awful food in Y in my life. The PG food on a 1 hour hop to HKT is better by a fair few nautical miles.

2) One of the stewardesses thought it would be prudent to sit down for landing...less than 10 seconds before we actually touched down. This was ridiculous I saw the two crew seats were empty (I snagged 26H) and I wondered whether they had more seating at the back. I could see from Y+ that we were at alt500ft and then, just before we touched down the A side stewardess bolts up the aisle to her seat (I mean at alt sub 100ft...). After we touch down, the K side stewardess comes up and sits in her seat and (just for good measure) buckles in.

What the fudge?
