I've had bad j and y flights with lots of airlines...ek are better than most but I use them a lot so I'd know that on the whole they are consistent.
Actually it's not. I for one applaud the OP for being able to articulate his points with minimal emotion. To many frequent flyers, the comments the OP made might be superfluous but he is entitled to his opinion and this after all, is a bulletin board which welcomes all experiences.
Like you, I fly EK a fair bit and find the product very consistent across all the cabins. But I have also come to set my expectations according to the cabin I'm in.
