OP, the fact that you are asking this question suggests you don't fly much in F. So go for it! Even if you look back and say, 'this was worth about $20, not $45' you have only wasted $25. There is no big risk.
I always consider the (slim) chance of an extended onboard delay. Especially in winter this is more likely, and you would get much more 'bang for the buck'.
