Unless you are physically uncomfortable in a Y seat due to height or weight I'd say no. For $45 you could get several Bloody Marys at an airport bar/restaurant. Possibly if the fare was super cheap I'd go for it. I might also go for it for an afternoon or evening flight that could be looking at a delay getting to the runway. Plus, since its evening as long as I'm not driving I could probably down a few drinks making it worth the price.
