But, I would definately pay it.


Keep in mind, these upgrades are (ideally) priced so that the (say) 1 seat offered is rejected by 99 and accepted by just 1. Meaning, it is priced so that most people don't think it is a good deal. There is no point in pricing it so low that it is typically bought by the first person to be offered.
