I thought I should unlurk to mention this:

I think LH has lost all sense of sanity: whoever's making food decisions on their flights has clearly never had to fly on, or clean, a plane before.

Did FRA-LHR last Thursday and we were given some sort of pineapple and coconut crumble/cake. First off, the smell of pineapple and coconut made the entire craft smell like a pina colada.

Sadly, secondly, it suffered from German Dry Cake Syndrome, meaning the moment the packets were opened, the entire fuselage was suffused in a delicate powdering of bright yellow cake crumbs.

I suspect that there were some incredibly annoyed cleaners at LHR on Thursday night. Eghhh.
