As far as I know, there is no through check-in of bags for transit at LCY - regardless of connecting airlines/flights, you have to pick up your bag and re-check it. No "night-before" check in either.
+1 ... sadly there is no passenger transit, but I've checked bags through LCY before (ARN-LCY-FRA); worked just fine although they called me over at the gate to check my bag tag into their system.
