I didn't think the recline was weird, but I did notice the seat cushion was slightly (maybe 1-2" at most) shorter than the other planes.

IMO, it's the second best F seat AS has behind the standard 737-900s and a couple of the first 737-800s. Sure beats the 737-800s and the concrete slabs they have.
