Let me see if I am following the comments on this thread correctly. AC announces an "on-line seat discount" where the prices compared to it's own Y class fare are good but not when compared to the competition (half the price of AC's discounted). The fare is targeted to the business traveller but has a "3 day minimum stay". It is an on-line special but some of the conditions (standby permitted) are not posted or "updated" (if the condtions change why are the rules not updated on-line?). It is an upgradeable fare but the YOW/YUL/YYZ-BOS legs are on a either a CRJ or A319. Both AC and the competition require a connection, AC has two flights a day versus the competition which has one. Does that sum it all up? If the above is correct not really that hard a decision is it?
