They probably didn't sell ANY upgrades on your flights. Upgrades are not sold until after Preferred members have cleared. They did probably sell most, if not all, of the First Class seats. If there was any upgrade space left, it goes in order of status, then mileage flown in the past 12 months. So likely, all other CP members would have been ahead of you in line.
Really? I thought upgrades, after status, would be based on price paid for the ticket or purchase date or something other than miles. Sounds strange to me.
