This could be cutting it VERY close - there are a lot of flights arriving at that time from SA and customs/immigration can get crowded. Since the airline made this decision for you, I would have your travel agent call them back and ask for a later flight, which should be at no charge.

Not sure what the minimum connection times at MIA are, but this seems to be too short.
